The Donation Experience
More people are beginning to realise importance of saving lives of fellow South Africans through blood
donation.
Ms Thabisile Nxasana, 39, of Lonehill, Johannesburg says blood
donation starts from one’s heart. She donated few months ago and
found it fascinating, easy with no pain at all.
“I’m committed to blood donation and will not stop,” she says.

Mr Les Morgan is a regular blood donor. He recently donated his
111th unit of blood.
“I started donating in 1964 and paused for a while and now I have
resumed donating,” he says. This determined blood donor said he is
doing this in memory of his friend who died at the age of 34. “I
will continue to donate so long as I’m fit to do so,” said Morgan.
